MIXED MEDIA TAGS by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!
Mandy here sharing my take on this month's fun "Stamp It Up" challenge hosted by Denise.  I decided to create two mixed media tags using "Viva Las Vegastamps" and "7Dots Studio" Papers.
I stamped the butterfly tag using black "Archival" ink....
I added resist stamp details to the below tag using "fine" clear embossing powder.  The stamp has delicate details and I figured thick embossing powder wouldn't work well with this type of stamp.
I was going for a distressed/rustic/weathered look so the stamp work did not need to be perfect.  Here is a close up of the resist stamp work.
Here is an image of the supplies I used for this project!
I just LOVE this stamp and papers from "Viva Las Vegastamps and 7Dots Studio!  They went well together!

The below "Stamp It Up"  mood board shows some beautiful stamps and details for you to be inspired by!

You can create layouts, cards, art journals, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain stamping.

So now we would love to see your take on this month's challenge! ;-)

As always, we have some yummy goodies up for grabs.

1st Prize:

Guest Designer - Maryia Potapovich

Hello Everyone

Today we have an awesome Guest Designer, to play along with our "Stamp It Up Challenge" this month and she is the very talented and lovely Maryia Potapovich.

Here is a little about Maryia.

My name is Maria and I'm a scrapaholic! Of course, the most works I do are made by the requests of customers (note pads, shadow boxes, cards...), but sometimes I want to make something for the soul. Most of my notebooks  go to customers with their individual fairy tale, written exclusively for them. Of course, there are some notebooks without stories in my blog, and there are some stories that do not have notebooks ...
Recently, I like and often make shadow-boxes, maybe because of the high demand for them. But sometimes I do them simply "for the mood."

Maryia created this gorgeous altered box.

"It was a box made of corrugated cardboard the size of a thick square book. Now it is a vintage decoration for shelves for paintings."

I've used stamps from 3 collections for this project:

Head on over to Maryia's blog to view the many, more wonderful projects.

Thanks so much Maryia for this gorgeous inspiration! ;-)

There is still a few days left to play along with the challenge and some yummy goodies up for grabs.

Life With You (Is One Amazing Adventure) Layout

Good morning fellow Berry71Bleu fans!  Kay here with my take on Denise's challenge for the month of June.  I honestly enjoyed this challenge because stamps are a personal fave of mine--I have many of them in my stash & I simply don't use them enough!  Well this challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to get creative with stamps.  June's challenge is: Stamp It Up & that's exactly what I did.

The photo is a sorta selfie that I took with my son & my pup Toby.  I edited the picture in Photoshop & applied a 'pencil sketch' effect to it.

Here's this month's inspiration board.  All you have to do to play along is apply some sort of stamping to your project.  That's it!  Simple as that.

The large black flourish seen behind my photos and embellishments is one large stamp that I further dressed up with a bit of Stickles.

I went back to my childhood and broke out my markers & did some good ol' fashioned coloring on this page.  The paper I used is from the 'Everlasting' collection by Authentique.  The papers are all in black & white but some of the papers from the collection--such as this one--is designed so that one can apply their own color if desired.  I decided to add two additional colors to the black & white scheme--yellow & light blue.  With Prismacolor markers I colored all the flowers on this paper and then applied yellow Stickles to the center of each flower.

This fancy border, stitching & sentiment are all stamps.

The cute little car images is a stamp by this month's sponsor 'Viva Las Vegas'.  I stamped the image on a piece of white card stock & cut it out.  Finally I adhered it to my page with dimensional foam dots.

Hope this page inspires some of you to get crafty with those stamps!

The Usual Suspects Layout by Cathi

Hello scrappy friends! Cathi here with my layout for this month's Stamp it Up challenge!!

This month our team has been sponsored by Viva LasVegaStamps!! They have such an amazing amount of stamps in their shop, something for every theme, style and subject! I had fun working with the stamps I was sent, using them for the background, title and journaling!

Here is the moodboard I used to inspire me:

I used the gorgeous 7 Dots Studio Illumination paper and tags for this. Here you can see a cute ampersand stamp I used for my background. I added some flowers, wooden pieces and flair from my stash.

I added a bit of bakers twine for fun here. My daughter and her friend acting crazy: the Usual Suspects around here!

Here you can see the Viva Las VegaStamps "Usual Suspect" stamp fully and the stamped sentiment I added, appropriate one for the two of them!
