Special Love Mixed Media Layout by Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today to share my take on this month's mood board.

I created this mixed media page of my Grandparents.

I used the gorgeous Barn Market vintage papers from Riddersholm Design.

I did some intricate gesso stencilling around the photo too.

The gorgeous chipboard piece is a Blue Fern Studios piece and was aged, using gesso and all purpose ink.

I also did a fair amount of stamping on the background too.

I really love how this vintage page turned out. Vintage certainly does not have to be dark and dreary,

So now it's your turn to show us your takes on the mood board.

My Beautiful Mother Layout

Hi everyone,
Happy Easter from Australia!

This month's Moodboard is incredible!

I decided to choose an old photo of my Mother and my Sister which was taken 60 years ago.

I used Kraft cardstock and used Tim Holtz embossing Powder with a Kaisercraft stamp which has images of post marks on it - creating an aged look.  I also used Kaisercraft paper which has images of vintage suitcases which I scrunched to fit in with the aged look of the layout.

Some close ups:
